Gordon Setter Dog breed information
Initially bred as a hunting breed, Gordon Setter is now primarily thought of as an excellent family pet, and for good reasons. They are highly obedient and affectionate to humans, especially ones that are part of the family. Show them affection, and they would return it back by manifold. However, just because they have become domesticated, that does not mean they have lost all of their hunting instincts. In fact, in many places, these dogs are used by hunters to hunt quail and pheasant.
