The Samoyed is a very old breed chosen by Siberian bedouins to herd their caribou and serve as sled tuggers when necessary. Originally, these canines came in a number of colors, but most places in the world now prefer the brilliant white version.
With a height range of 19 to 23 inches and a weight range of 50 to 65 pounds, A medium-sized dog, the Samoyed, can weigh between 23 and 29 kilograms. Samoyeds are robust, square-built canines with fluffy tail that hangs to one edge and curls over the back.
