Havanese Dog breed facts
The Havanese Dog breed is a breed that was initially bred as a companion dog to the aristocracy. Native to the Cuban island, their history can be traced back to the early 1800s. So, it is a breed that has been around for some time now. Naturally, they have adapted to become more of a family pet, which is certainly suitable for them. These dogs are also named ‘Velcro Dogs’ because of their habit of sticking close to their owners. And while this breed might seem like just a lapdog, they actually are pretty energetic, which certainly makes them rather endearing to children.
